The lake Isle of Innisfree

Description

Inspired by the WB Yeats poem of the same title, Martina says that in this piece she “tried to capture the peace created in this landscape of silhouettes in the gloaming”.

The poem which opens with the famous line “I will arise and go no, and go to Innisfree” was written in memory of the Island in Lough Gill in Co. Sligo that Yeats visited regularly as a child, it features on the Irish passport.

The image is screen printed in dark blue tones on Irish linen it comes mounted and ready to frame.

The print itself measures 15cm square, the mount measures 30cm square and fits our large Rocker Lane square frames perfectly. It is signed and editioned as one of 250 prints.
