Sonor Vintage 18″ x 16″ Floor Tom (VT 16 1816 FT) 

The Sonor Vintage offers an opportunity to experience the sound and feel of some of the most sought after vintage drums, the Sonor Teardrop kits. Produced in Germany, the sonor vintage floor toms are crafted using hand-selected premium German beech wood. These shells provide the drum with pronounced highs and mids and a great low-end punch. The shells also feature rounded bearing edges which allows more head contact and creates a much shorter but beefier sound. 

The floor tom also features classic 1950’s superprofil hoops which have been redesigned by Sonor to have a 2.3mm triple flanged steel hoop while still holding their classic shape. The beautiful Vintage Red Oyster finish is complimented by classic Teardrop lugs, the lugs have been fitted with Sonor’s patented TuneSafe system which supports maximum tuning stability.
