Video Information
Description: Skitching is the act of hitching a ride by holding on to a motor vehicle while riding on a skateboard. The skitched vehicle can either be aware of their load or unaware. Michael J. Fox can be seen skitching in the 1985 film Back to the Future, as can Michael Beck in the 1980 film Xanadu and Christian Slater in the 1989 film Gleaming the Cube. It looks like these two might have been inspired by one of the movies listed above but they did not achieve the desired outcome, unless their plan was to get up to about 35 mile per hour and then loose control and roll across the pavement.
